Role Overview
This is a high-profile number one finance role supporting a major manufacturing operation, partnering senior business leaders to drive performance, investment decisions, cost optimisation and transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will lead a small team while acting as a strategic finance partner across operations, supply chain and leadership teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Our client is a multinational organisation operating at significant scale across manufacturing, supply chain and consumer markets. They are seeking a commercially minded finance leader to support a strategically important operation and play a key role in driving performance, transformation and long-term growth.
Description
- Act as the key finance partner to the manufacturing leadership team, providing insight and challenge to support business performance.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for a large-scale manufacturing operation.
- Drive productivity, cost optimisation and value creation initiatives across the site and wider supply chain.
- Support major investment decisions, including capital expenditure planning and business cases.
- Play a leading role in operational transformation and continuous improvement programmes.
- Deliver clear financial insights to senior stakeholders, influencing strategic decision-making.
- Ensure robust financial controls, governance and risk management processes are maintained.
- Lead, coach and develop a small finance team while collaborating with shared service and cross-functional teams.
- Build strong relationships across operations, supply chain, commercial and leadership teams to drive business outcomes.
- Champion a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement.

Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence business decisions and challenge stakeholders constructively.
- Proven business partnering experience, ideally within a complex, fast-paced corporate environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to senior leadership.
- Solid finance fundamentals, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, controls and performance management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to turn data into meaningful business insights.
- Experience leading projects, driving change or supporting transformation initiatives.
- Leadership potential, ambition and a desire to continue progressing within a large international organisation.
- The ability to operate independently, take ownership and build credibility across multiple functions and teams.
