Overview
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Finance to lead our finance function and ensure the delivery of accurate, compliant, and insightful financial reporting. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee the General Ledger and Accounting team, drive financial governance, manage statutory reporting and tax compliance, and lead internal and external audit processes. You will play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements across the business.

The Role
- Lead and manage the GL/Accountant team, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.
- Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and audit processes in accordance with (I)FRS standards.
- Manage tax-related activities, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), VAT filings, Transfer Pricing, and other tax matters.
- Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of audit findings.
- Ensure consolidation of financial data across business units, providing accurate and timely financial insights.
- Provide guidance and support on accounting, compliance, and regulatory matters to internal stakeholders.

The Candidate
- Degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification is essential.
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience at a Big 4 accounting firm, with a strong foundation in accounting principles, audit, and tax.
- Subsequent experience in a similar role within a commercial company, demonstrating expertise in financial management and leadership.
- Specialisation in accounting, tax, audit, compliance, and consolidation.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
- Experience in the luxury fashion or FMCG industry is desirable but not essential.
