We're looking for a part-time Head of Finance to join an award winning, private equity backed creative agency.
Reporting to the MD and with a dotted line to the Group CFO, you will manage the end-to-end finances for both the UK and US studios, helping the business to continue the development of their financial and commercial processes.
We're looking for someone who's as equally happy presenting in a board room, as they are rolling the sleeves up and posting invoices.
This is a 12 month contract, part-time 3 days per week
Head of Finance - Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Managing the company's finances, including managing transactional accounts, budgets, and cash flow.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Preparing and presenting financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as budgets and forecasts.
- Cash Flow Management: Overseeing and optimising cash flow, ensuring adequate funding for operations and investments.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Creating and managing budgets and forecasts, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Financial Strategy and Planning: Developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's growth and goals and PE investor expectations
- Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, managing tax liabilities, and advising on tax planning strategies
- Liaison with Stakeholders: Communicating with and collaborating with other departments, management, investors, and external parties on financial matters

Head of Finance - Required Experience

- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience in a senior finance role, preferably from a creative services background
- Able to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with international subsidiaries beneficial
- Able to start early to mid-September
- An all rounder - as happy presenting in a board room as inputting purchase and sales invoices!
Head of Finance - Package
- Salary: £90,000-100,000 FTE
- Part-time 3 days a week, with the expectation to be in the office 1 day per week
- Plus full benefits package
