Finance Lead - Major Infrastructure Project - Birmingham - £80-95k + Package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Lead to join a flagship, multi-million-pound infrastructure programme in the Midlands.
Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will take ownership of all project finance activities, providing robust financial control, commercial insight, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision support. Acting as a trusted business partner to operational and commercial teams, you'll play a key role in driving project performance and ensuring strong financial governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead all day-to-day financial management of the project
- Deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Provide performance analysis, variance reporting, and actionable recommendations
- Support project reviews and financial decision-making
- Oversee cash flow, billing, supplier payments, and financial controls
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal governance requirements
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities, and cost efficiencies
About you:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified
- Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role within major infrastructure, construction, engineering, or large-scale project environments
- Strong commercial awareness and business partnering capability
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with SAP would be advantageous
