Head of Finance - London (Remote)

As the Head of Finance in London within the not-for-profit sector, you'll oversee the day-to-day financial operations, HR, and IT, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This temporary role is vital in managing budgets, financial reporting, and compliance to support the organisation's goals.

This role is for a not-for-profit organisation located in London—however, it is totally remote!

Description

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and present them to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage cash flow and financial risk effectively.
  • Collaborate with different departments to provide financial insights and support.
  • Lead and manage the finance team to ensure high performance.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
  • Act as the main point of contact for auditors and external financial partners.

Profile

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or QBE.
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge across Finance and operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Offer

  • Daily rate of £293 to £358, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Temporary role for 6 months, with potential to go permanent.
  • 4 days a week.
  • Remote.
