About Us

We are a dynamic startup disrupting the logistics and e-commerce fulfillment space. We are looking for a Head of Finance who is ready to jump into the chaos, build a world-class financial infrastructure, and be a key strategic partner to the CEO/Founder and Board and a critical member of the Senior Leadership Team. You will sit at the centre of every important decision in the business — from pricing and partnerships to fundraising and scale. This is not a role for maintaining the status quo, it is for an operator who wants to define and drive our path to a profitable scale.

The Mission: What You Will Achieve

You will be the engine of our financial health and growth. Your 12-month mission is to transform our finance function from an operational necessity into a strategic advantage, ensuring we hit profitability while building automation that frees us to focus on growth. You will build a finance function that operates in real-time, where data, reporting, and decision-making are automated and continuously updated. This role combines hands-on financial operations with strategic leadership.

Core Pillars of Success:

  • Drive Profitability: Ruthlessly manage our P&L. You will drive a clear path to profitability by improving unit economics, tightening cost control, and increasing pricing discipline across clients, warehouses, and carriers
  • Financial Control & Liquidity: Own all cash flow management and financial forecasting. You will ensure invoices are sent promptly and bad debt is minimized, while managing all payment cycles for partners and employees
  • Build, Automate & Augment: You will design and implement AI-driven finance workflows (AR, AP, reconciliation, reporting), to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and enable real-time decision-making across the business
  • Compliance & Governance: Oversee all external relations, including liaising with accountants, managing Companies House filings, tax compliance, and preparing Board materials
  • Strategic Partnering: Own the financial side of commercial strategy, including pricing, rate cards, and negotiation of payment terms with clients, warehouses, and carriers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
