Head of Finance – Europe – London HQ
About the Role
The Head of Finance – Europe is a hands-on position responsible for delivering financial support across Locke’s European hotel portfolio, including financial reporting, planning, and analysis. Reporting to the VP – Finance, this strategic leadership role requires shaping financial strategy, providing deep operational insights, and driving high performance in a dynamic hotel environment. The role is based at Locke’s London HQ (5 days per week) and offers an opportunity to work closely with business partners and senior stakeholders to shape the brand’s distinct approach to hospitality.
Locke’s Vision
The stage is set for innovation. Locke doesn’t operate conventional hotels—we craft spaces brimming with character, intentionality, and atmosphere.
From humble beginnings as a UK aparthotel portfolio, we’ve evolved into a design-focused European collection. Locke embraces bold expression, while Cove by Locke offers a refined, intimate alternative.
Our guests seek more than just rest: they want moments—whether to work, unwind, or escape. While comfort is essential, we prioritise memorable experiences with depth and personality, qualities seldom found in traditional models.
Here, your work has a stage. Are you ready to step on?

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Values We Seek
At Locke, we reimagine hospitality. Until someone from this industry did.
That requires energy, authenticity, and a belief in shaping—rather than following— trends.
We seek people unafraid of change, driven by purpose, and committed to delivering meaningful guest experiences.
Hard technical skills can be honed. Mindset—particularly when infused with vision, atmosphere, and pragmatism—cannot.
There’s no rigid mould here. Sixty percent heroism, forty percent humility, one hundred percent tone.
Do you have the right mindset?
