HEAD OF FINANCE - EUROPE - LONDON HQ

The Head of Finance - Europe is a hands-on position responsible for the financial support of Locke’s European hotel operations providing financial reporting, planning & analysis. Reporting into the VP - Finance, the role is critical to supporting our hotel operators and enabling financial performance. This is a strategic leadership role for someone with hotels experience who enjoys working in high-performing teams. This role is based at our London Bridge office 5 days per week.

THE STAGE IS SET

The stage is set for something different. We don’t run conventional hotels - we create spaces with character and intent.

What began as a small UK aparthotel portfolio has grown into a design-led European collection. As we evolve our brand, we’re creating spaces that feel contemporary, distinctive, and full of atmosphere. Locke leads with bold expression, while Cove by Locke offers a quieter, more refined take.

Guests come to rest, work, or escape. Comfort is a given, but we aim to create memorable moments and bring back the sense of mood hospitality often lost.

This is our backdrop. Step on stage and play your part.

THE WORK IN YOUR HANDS

Financial Planning, Forecasting, Reporting & Analysis:

  • Oversee the reporting of European hotel operations to monthly close deadlines, the review of property level P&Ls including variance analysis, commentary and insight on financial results including a curiosity to investigate and challenge performance and develop turnaround action plans.
  • Ongoing property profitability analysis and review tracking financial KPIs, benchmarking internal and external data sources and identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support the hotel operations in the monthly reforecasting and annual budgeting processes for the European hotels, aligning financial plans with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and insights to senior management and key stakeholders, ensure alignment and standardization across region.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
