I'm currently supporting a growing Consultancy firm based in London, who are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Finance to lead and develop its finance function during an exciting period of expansion.
Within this role you'll have the opportunity to shape the finance function, implement new systems and processes, and build a high-performing finance team. Working closely with the Founder, CEO, and Senior Leadership Team, you'll provide commercial and strategic financial leadership to support the firm's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the finance function, introducing scalable processes, controls, and best practices.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning to support business objectives.
- Ensure the timely production of accurate management accounts, statutory reporting, and audit requirements.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant financial and regulatory standards.
- Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to provide commercial financial insights, analysis, and strategic recommendations.
- Develop meaningful financial reporting and KPIs to support decision-making across the business.
- Lead financial planning for business growth initiatives, including resource planning, profitability analysis, and investment decisions.

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Have proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a professional services, consultancy, or similar commercial environment.
- Possess strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills with experience developing and managing high-performing teams.
- Have experience improving finance systems, processes, and controls within a growing organisation.
- Be an effective communicator, confident in partnering with senior stakeholders and presenting financial information to non-financial audiences.
- Be proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business.

The company's offices are based in central London with excellent transport links. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring four days per week in the office.
