The Role
We are seeking a highly strategic and operationally focused Head of Finance Operations to lead and transform our global finance operations function. This is a critical leadership role responsible for scaling and optimising end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and transactional finance operations across a complex, high-growth international organisation.
The ideal candidate will:
- Oversee a global team of 20+ professionals
- Design and implement best-in-class finance processes, systems, controls, and shared service models
- Establish Centers of Excellence (CoEs) across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas to support:
- Operational scale
- Standardisation
- Continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Core Operational Leadership
- Lead global finance operations across:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Billing
- Cash applications
- Transactional finance within a fast-paced, international environment.

- Manage, mentor, and develop a distributed team of 20+ finance professionals across:
- APAC
- EMEA
- The Americas while driving organisational scalability and operational excellence.
Process & System Optimisation

Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring:
- Accurate accruals
- Reconciliations
- Aging reviews
- Financial controls
- Timely reporting in partnership with Controllership and FP&A teams.

Drive finance transformation initiatives, including:
- Automation
- Process optimisation
- AI-enabled workflows
- Implementation of scalable finance systems integrated with NetSuite.
Governance & Compliance

Establish and optimise regional Centers of Excellence, improving:
- Service delivery
- Accountability
- Governance
- Operational efficiency

Design and implement standardised global processes, including:
- KPIs
- SLAs
- Governance frameworks
- Internal controls

Ensure compliance with:
- SOX controls
- Audit requirements
- Accounting standards
- Tax regulations
- Corporate policies while strengthening risk management frameworks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with:
- Finance
- Procurement
- Legal
- Sales Operations
- HR
- Executive stakeholders to support:
- Strategic decision-making
- International expansion
- M&A integration activities
What We’re Looking For

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Preferred qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive finance operations experience within:
- Multinational organisations
- High-growth organisations
- Publicly listed companies
