Liverpool (office based for 4 days/week) 12-Month Fixed Term Contract £90,000 – £110,000/annum + Completion Bonus + Excellent Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance shared services leader to join a large, complex UK organisation during a critical period of finance transformation and change. This is a high-profile leadership role focused on driving operational excellence across Billing, Credit Control and Accounts Payable functions, while leading the delivery of significant process, systems and organisational improvements. The successful candidate will play a key role in modernising finance operations, improving efficiency and embedding a more centralised, technology-enabled shared services model.

The Opportunity Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead a substantial transformation programme across finance shared services, with responsibility for: Developing and leading high-performing teams through change Driving process improvement, standardisation and automation initiatives Implementing new systems and technology solutions Centralising billing processes across multiple revenue streams Improving controls, efficiency and service delivery Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the business Acting as a hands-on leader capable of balancing strategic delivery with operational involvement
This role requires a commercially minded and highly credible finance leader who can influence at all levels, bring teams on the journey and successfully embed new ways of working.

About You Candidates should demonstrate: Significant experience leading finance shared services or operational finance functions Proven success delivering transformation and change programmes Strong experience implementing finance systems and automation solutions Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills The ability to lead, coach and develop teams through periods of change A pragmatic, hands-on approach with a strong delivery focus Strong communication and influencing capability Shared services experience across Billing, Credit Control and/or Accounts Payable environments
Accounting qualification desirable but not essential.
