A well-established, privately owned business is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead its finance function and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation.

This is a senior leadership position, operating alongside a highly capable leadership team and reporting directly into the ownership group. Whilst not a Board position, you will be the principal provider of financial information, insight, and analysis to the Board and wider business.

The company has invested heavily in its systems and reporting infrastructure, creating an excellent platform for an individual who enjoys delivering high-quality management information and helping leaders make informed decisions based on robust financial data.

The Role

Leading a small team, you will be responsible for ensuring the business receives accurate, timely, and meaningful financial information. You will oversee the production of monthly reporting packs, forecasts, budgets, and Board reports, while continuing to improve the quality and accessibility of management information across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
