⭐️ Head of Finance

📍 Central London 2x pw

💰 £85,000 to £100,000

Our client is a high-growth functional wellness brand that has scaled from £0 to £20m revenue in 4 years. Having started as a D2C-first business it’s now a true omnichannel player across both online and retail. They’re now looking for a Head of Finance to take ownership of their most critical function. With a world-class MD and a high-performing team already in place, the business is well positioned for significant scale and a potential exit within the next 3–4 years. 🚀

Role & Responsibilities: 📋

Own the Financial Engine

  • Lead monthly management accounts, forecasts, and board reporting
  • Deliver faster, sharper insights to support decision-making

Drive Commercial Performance

  • Own the commercial model and track performance vs plan
  • Partner with D2C & Retail teams to optimise profitability, pricing, and promotions

Cashflow & Unit Economics

  • Manage cashflow forecasting and improve cash visibility
  • Sharpen unit economics across channels (CAC, LTV, margin, payback)

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Act as a key partner to the MD, influencing strategic decisions
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights across the business

Channel & Cohort Analysis

  • Build deep understanding of D2C subscription cohorts and retention
  • Analyse performance across D2C, Retail, and Marketplace channels

Investor & Board Exposure

  • Support board packs, investor reporting, and fundraising readiness
  • Contribute to long-term planning and growth strategy

Build & Evolve the Finance Function

  • Bring finance in-house and improve processes, controls, and reporting timelines
  • Manage external finance partners and develop future team structure

Do you have the following to apply? ✅

  • Strong commercial finance mindset – not just reporting, but driving decisions
  • Experience in D2C and/or Grocery/FMCG environments (highly preferred)
  • Deep understanding of subscription models & cohort analysis
  • Qualified (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Advanced modelling & forecasting capability
  • Confident business partner – able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable in high-growth, fast-paced environments
  • Strong communicator – able to simplify complex financial concepts
