Company Description

Pearl Healthcare is a provider of care services, including Care Homes, Community Supported Living, and Complex Needs Services, with locations in South Lincolnshire and the Isle of Man and a head office in Canterbury, Kent. The organization delivers high-quality, person-centered care rooted in core values of Respect, Empathy, Passion, and Trust. Services span residential and respite care, support for learning disabilities, mental health and dementia care, day care, and domiciliary care, available 365 days a year.

The Role

We are seeking a commercially sharp, hands-on Head of Finance / Part-Time FD to join us initially for 2 days per week. This is a dynamic role blending high-level strategy with firm operational management. You will work with the owner to lead external relationships, while taking full line-management responsibility for our small internal team.

Progression: This role requires 2 days per week for the first 6 months to deliver our system transition. As the business grows, or as internal team structures naturally evolve, there is explicit scope for this role to scale to 3+ days per week, or consolidate to a steady-state 1.5 days per week post-migration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
