Our client is a growing IFA firm who is seeking an experienced and commercially minded financial planning leader to take responsibility for a high-performing advisory function. This role combines strategic leadership with client-facing advisory work, offering the opportunity to influence business growth, shape adviser development, and deliver outstanding outcomes for affluent and high-net-worth clients.
As part of the senior leadership team, you will drive the direction of the advisory business, ensuring the delivery of exceptional financial planning services, sustainable growth, regulatory excellence, and a strong client-focused culture. The position is split between leadership responsibilities and maintaining a select portfolio of personal clients.

Role & Responsibilities: 📋
- Lead, inspire and develop a team of Financial Planners and Advisers.
- Create and embed a high-performance culture focused on professionalism, accountability and client outcomes.
- Develop workforce and succession plans to ensure adviser capacity supports future growth.
- Oversee adviser recruitment, onboarding, development and retention strategies.
- Support business integration activity, including the successful onboarding of new advisers and acquired businesses.
- Deliver sustainable revenue growth through effective leadership of the advisory team.
- Monitor and improve key commercial indicators, including adviser productivity, client profitability and new client acquisition.
- Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth and affluent clients.
- Conduct detailed financial planning reviews and provide tailored recommendations.
- Assess clients' objectives, risk profiles, tax considerations and long-term financial goals.

Do you have the following to apply? ✅
- Significant experience within financial planning, wealth management or independent financial advice.
- Demonstrable leadership experience managing and developing adviser teams.
- Strong understanding of FCA regulations, governance and risk management requirements.
- Proven ability to balance commercial growth with excellent client outcomes.
