Head of Financial Planning & Analysis | PE-Backed Digital Infrastructure Group

We're partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed group operating across multiple B2B commercial platforms, to find their first Head of FP&A. This is a newly created role reporting directly into the CFO, with a clear mandate: architect a modern, data-first FP&A capability that becomes the single source of truth for the business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Owning short, medium, and long-term forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modelling across multiple business lines
  • Designing the data architecture and taxonomy that underpins FP&A, integrating data from across the business into one unified framework
  • Building executive dashboards and self-service reporting tools for the leadership team and board
  • Business partnering with commercial and operational leadership to translate performance into forecasts and insight
  • Establishing data governance, validation, and reconciliation processes across all data sources

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for:

  • FP&A or commercial finance experience, ideally within a high-growth, tech-enabled business
  • A track record of building forecasting models and planning processes in data-driven organisations
  • Strong data capability: experience with data architecture, aggregation, and dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
  • Python experience or comfort working with data lakes/modern data pipelines is a strong plus
  • A proactive, first-principles approach to building systems and processes, not just running existing ones
