Head of FP&A
London | Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary + Equity + Benefits
Build the function. Shape the future. Influence the strategy.
An exceptionally exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of FP&A to join a high-growth technology business that has recently secured significant international investment and is entering its next phase of rapid global expansion.
This is not a traditional FP&A leadership role. The business is scaling at pace and is seeking a commercially astute finance leader to establish, build and lead a best-in-class FP&A function. Working closely with the CFO, executive leadership team, and investors, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making, supporting growth initiatives, and creating the financial infrastructure required for an ambitious scaling journey.
This is a rare opportunity to join at a defining stage of the company's evolution, with the ability to leave a lasting mark on both the finance function and the wider organisation.
The Opportunity
As Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for creating the FP&A capability from the ground up, designing the processes, systems, reporting frameworks and team structure required to support a fast-growing, internationally focused technology business. You will act as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight, challenge, and guidance to support key commercial decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
