PURPOSE
No1 Lounges is the UK’s leading independent airport lounge provider, with four distinctive lounge brands: No1 Lounges, Clubrooms, My Lounge and Club Aspire. With lounges in Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Birmingham and Jersey, we exist to provide every traveller the stay they deserve. This newly created role will shape the future Food & Beverage proposition for No1 Lounges. Reporting to the Operations Director and leading a skilled team, the Head of Food & Beverage will own the development of a distinctive, commercially successful and guest-centric offer across our airport lounge portfolio.
Combining innovation, commercial leadership and operational excellence, the role will own the Food & Beverage strategy and innovation roadmap, identifying emerging consumer trends, technologies, partnerships and product opportunities that enhance guest satisfaction, strengthen competitive differentiation and drive commercial performance.
The role is also accountable for Food & Beverage sourcing, supplier partnerships, logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring the right products, services and operational standards are consistently delivered across the estate. Working closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing and Property teams, the Head of Food & Beverage will create a market-leading guest experience while driving profitability, operational efficiency and sustainable growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the F&B strategy and innovation roadmap, identifying opportunities to enhance proposition, strengthen competitive differentiation and drive performance.
- Lead F&B sourcing, supplier relationships and commercial negotiations to maximise value, quality and service performance.
- Oversee continual menu development and product standards, ensuring the proposition remains compelling, commercially successful and operationally deliverable.
- Act as the senior subject matter expert for all Food & Beverage matters across the business.
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Marketing and Property teams to deliver strategic business objectives and a market-leading guest experience.
- Lead logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring product availability, effective inventory management and operational resilience across the estate.
- Maintain full compliance and audit readiness for food safety legislation, airport compliance, allergen management and HACCP requirements.
- Drive ESG initiatives, including waste reduction and sustainable sourcing.
- Drive continuous improvement in Food & Beverage processes, systems, governance and reporting.
- Lead, develop and inspire the Food & Beverage department, building capability and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Proven experience developing and implementing Food & Beverage strategies that improve guest experience and commercial performance.
- Significant experience in F&B leadership within a multi-site hospitality, leisure, travel or catering environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing suppliers, negotiations and procurement activities.
- Experience leading logistics, inventory management and supply chain operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience of food safety compliance, HACCP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Passion for hospitality, food and beverage innovation, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
This is a hybrid role. You’ll split your time between working from home, with regular on-site presence across all lounges and our Central London office. The balance will naturally flex based on business priorities and needs.
WHATS ON OFFER
- Contract type: full time, permanent contract
- Reports to: Operations Director
- Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 inclusive of car allowance, plus up to 20% annual bonus
