Interim Head of Forecasting, Allocation & Replenishment (F,A&R)

Location: UK (Hybrid)

Contract: 12–18 months

Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview:

We are hiring an Interim Head of Forecasting, Allocation & Replenishment (F,A&R) for a leading fashion / general merchandise retailer. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for owning end-to-end forecasting, allocation, and replenishment across store and online channels. The role will also play a key part in implementing a next-generation planning capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end Forecasting, Allocation & Replenishment function
  • Lead store-level forecasting and DC to store replenishment
  • Define and manage allocation strategies across channels
  • Drive availability, stock optimisation, and trading performance
  • Work closely with merchandising, supply chain, and technology teams
  • Support design, build, and implementation of planning systems (Blue Yonder, RELEX, SAP, etc.)
  • Lead and mentor planning teams

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in fashion or general merchandise retail (not FMCG/grocery)
  • Proven ownership of Forecasting, Allocation & Replenishment
  • Strong experience in store-level replenishment and allocation
  • Hands-on experience with planning tools (Blue Yonder, RELEX, SAP, etc.)
  • Experience in transformation or system implementation is a plus
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
