With an international footprint, the platform invests across a diverse range of sectors, including financial services, technology, infrastructure, and consumer businesses.

The Group Finance function sits at the heart of the organisation, supporting the management company, listed entities, and investment funds. Following a significant Target Operating Model transformation, the finance function has evolved into specialist centres of excellence across Corporate Accounting, Fund Accounting, Group FP&A, Fund FP&A, Financial Compliance, and Financial AI & Data, creating a modern, scalable finance platform to support continued growth.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of FP&A is a newly created leadership position within the transformed Finance function. The role is responsible for leading the Group's and Funds' financial planning, analysis, and performance reporting across all investment strategies.

Managing a team of 3–4 FP&A professionals, the successful candidate will partner closely with finance, investment, and portfolio value creation teams, providing commercially focused analysis and strategic insight to support business performance and investment decision-making.

This is a high-profile, hands-on leadership opportunity offering significant exposure to the CFO and Executive Committee. The successful individual will act as a trusted adviser to senior leadership, supporting strategic planning, capital allocation, investor communications, and finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare holding company valuation packs, including KPI analysis, valuation methodology reviews, sensitivity analysis, and audit support alongside investment teams.
  • Provide financial analysis supporting dividends, share buybacks, and equity issuances.
  • Develop financial models relating to debt facilities, including covenant monitoring, drawdown scenarios, and refinancing analysis.
  • Deliver analytical support for venture and growth investments, including portfolio KPI reporting, runway analysis, and performance benchmarking.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
