A leading global digital infrastructure provider is seeking an experienced Head of FP&A to join its Group Finance function. This is a high-impact leadership role supporting the Group FP&A Director and partnering closely with senior executives across Commercial, Operations, and Delivery.
The role will lead corporate financial planning activities across the business, driving connected planning from short-term liquidity forecasting through to long-term strategic modelling, while also supporting major corporate initiatives including refinancing, joint ventures and potential transaction activity.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded FP&A leader who thrives in a fast-paced, capital-intensive, international environment and enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end financial planning cycle including budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
- Coordinate connected planning processes across global functions, from liquidity forecasting to long-term strategic projections.
- Develop group financial scenarios to inform capital investment and strategic planning decisions.
- Own and maintain advanced financial planning models across Excel and cloud-based planning tools.
- Oversee group short-term cash flow forecasting and ensure accuracy of regional/site forecasts.
- Partner with senior leadership across Commercial, Operations and Delivery to understand performance drivers, commercial pipeline, cost management and capital deployment.
- Provide insight-led analysis to the Executive team, enabling data-driven decision making.
- Prepare high-quality presentation materials for corporate planning processes and strategic initiatives.
- Act as a key finance partner on corporate transactions, including refinancing, joint ventures, asset divestments and potential sale processes.
- Maintain and develop financial models supporting transaction activity.
- Support valuation analysis and clearly articulate key drivers impacting enterprise value.
- Liaise with external advisors and stakeholders during transaction processes.
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and insight to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Drive development of financial and operational KPIs and enhance management reporting.
- Lead finance systems initiatives including planning tools, reporting platforms and process automation.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Build and lead high-performing finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop talent across FP&A and the wider finance organisation.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed global environment.

- Significant FP&A leadership experience, ideally in infrastructure, real estate, energy, telecoms or other capital-intensive sectors.
- Proven experience leading group planning cycles (budget, forecast, long-range planning).
- Strong experience supporting corporate transactions, refinancing, or joint ventures.
- Advanced financial modelling skills and experience with cloud planning tools (e.g. Anaplan, Oracle PBCS or similar).
- Exceptional stakeholder management with the ability to influence CFO/Executive leadership.
- Experience driving finance systems implementations, reporting improvements or transformation initiatives.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate complex data into clear insight.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, evolving global business.
- Strong communicator with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders.
