Head of FP&A

£120,000/yr - £130,000/yr
Full time office based

A leading global digital infrastructure provider is seeking an experienced Head of FP&A to join its Group Finance function. This is a high-impact leadership role supporting the Group FP&A Director and partnering closely with senior executives across Commercial, Operations, and Delivery.

The role will lead corporate financial planning activities across the business, driving connected planning from short-term liquidity forecasting through to long-term strategic modelling, while also supporting major corporate initiatives including refinancing, joint ventures and potential transaction activity.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded FP&A leader who thrives in a fast-paced, capital-intensive, international environment and enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end financial planning cycle including budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
  • Coordinate connected planning processes across global functions, from liquidity forecasting to long-term strategic projections.
  • Develop group financial scenarios to inform capital investment and strategic planning decisions.
  • Own and maintain advanced financial planning models across Excel and cloud-based planning tools.
  • Oversee group short-term cash flow forecasting and ensure accuracy of regional/site forecasts.
  • Partner with senior leadership across Commercial, Operations and Delivery to understand performance drivers, commercial pipeline, cost management and capital deployment.
  • Provide insight-led analysis to the Executive team, enabling data-driven decision making.
  • Prepare high-quality presentation materials for corporate planning processes and strategic initiatives.
  • Act as a key finance partner on corporate transactions, including refinancing, joint ventures, asset divestments and potential sale processes.
  • Maintain and develop financial models supporting transaction activity.
  • Support valuation analysis and clearly articulate key drivers impacting enterprise value.
  • Liaise with external advisors and stakeholders during transaction processes.
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and insight to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Drive development of financial and operational KPIs and enhance management reporting.
  • Lead finance systems initiatives including planning tools, reporting platforms and process automation.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Build and lead high-performing finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Coach and develop talent across FP&A and the wider finance organisation.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed global environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
