12 Month FTC at a Leading Investment Management Business
The business is seeking an experienced Head of Funds Audit Delivery to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of annual fund audits across a broad range of regulated and alternative investment funds.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for delivering a complex audit programme covering several hundred funds across multiple jurisdictions. The successful individual will oversee audit planning, governance, and delivery, ensuring key milestones are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting, compliance, and operational excellence.
Working across Finance, Fund Operations, Product, Risk, and external service providers, you will:
- Drive audit readiness
- Manage critical stakeholder relationships
- Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks

You will be responsible for establishing robust governance frameworks, leading audit steering committees, overseeing third-party engagement, and providing regular reporting to senior leadership.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, CA or equivalent) either ex Big 4/larger accounting firm or with equivalent experience developed in-house in a fund manager or fund admin firm dealing with a high volume of fund audits.
- Significant programme or project management experience within asset or investment management.
- Strong understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies, and project management tools.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience of financial reporting within asset management.
- Knowledge of fund operations, including areas such as fund accounting, transfer agency, custody/depositary oversight, banking, tax reporting, and fund audit processes would be advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders, third-party providers, and external auditors while delivering to challenging deadlines.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to influence across a complex organization.

Salary: in the region of £150-160k on an FTC basis plus bonus and benefits. Start date is flexible and open to people looking to commence a new role in the autumn.
