We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Head of Funds Commercial - Europe, reporting to the Head of Region. This role is based in London, although other European locations will be considered, and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant contribution to our Funds business and its growth.
Purpose of Role
The Head of Funds Commercial – Europe is responsible for leading the commercial growth agenda for Vistra Fund Solutions across the region. The role drives revenue growth, client retention, market expansion, and execution of the regional Funds Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy across Private Equity, Real Assets, Infrastructure, Private Credit, Venture Capital, and Capital Markets segments.
As a senior commercial leader, the role is accountable for building and leading a high-performing team of Executive Account Managers, developing strategic client relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and delivering sustainable revenue growth through disciplined sales execution, pricing excellence, and client-centric solutioning.
Working closely with Product, Corporate Services, Capital Markets, Practice and Client Management teams, the Head of Funds Commercial ensures alignment between client needs, commercial priorities, and Vistra's broader strategic objectives, acting as a key driver of market growth and client value creation across Europe.
Scope
- Commercial leadership for the Europe Funds business.
- Leadership and development of a regional team of Executive Account Managers.
- Accountability for new business development, revenue growth, retention, cross-sell, and wallet share expansion.
- Ownership of regional sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, GTM execution, and commercial performance.
- Strategic responsibility for developing market penetration strategies across target client segments and jurisdictions.
- Key contributor to regional commercial planning, market expansion initiatives, and product commercialization strategies.
- Senior client-facing representative of Vistra Fund Solutions across industry events, conferences, client meetings, and strategic pursuits.
- Responsible for delivering performance against regional revenue growth and client retention targets.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Lead execution of the commercial growth strategy for Fund Solutions across Europe, delivering sustainable revenue growth through new business acquisition, client retention, cross-selling and expansion opportunities.
- Develop and execute regional commercial plans aligned to Vistra's strategic objectives, market priorities and growth ambitions.
- Drive achievement of revenue, pipeline, conversion, retention and profitability targets through disciplined sales leadership and performance management.
- Establish clear commercial KPIs and governance frameworks to monitor performance, forecast growth and improve sales quality and effectiveness across the region.
- Act as a senior commercial leader and ambassador for Vistra within the Funds ecosystem, enhancing market presence and strengthening strategic relationships across the industry.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Commercialisation
- Execute the regional Go-to-Market strategy across Europe, ensuring alignment with target sectors, jurisdictions, products and client segments.
- Partner closely with Product, Technology, Digital and Market leaders to identify and commercialise innovative, technology-enabled solutions that enhance client outcomes and differentiate Vistra in the market.
- Translate market intelligence, client feedback and industry developments into actionable commercial initiatives, service enhancements and new revenue opportunities.
- Support the development, launch and commercialization of new products, services and digital capabilities that address evolving client needs across the alternative investment landscape.
- Champion the adoption of digital tools, CRM capabilities, sales technologies and data-driven insights to improve pipeline visibility, client engagement and commercial performance.
Strategic Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives, fund managers, investment sponsors, institutional investors, intermediaries, law firms and other key market participants.
- Personally lead and support strategic client engagements, complex pursuits and large commercial opportunities.
- Develop and oversee key account strategies designed to strengthen client retention, increase wallet share and drive long-term revenue growth.
- Act as an executive sponsor for strategic client relationships and support resolution of complex commercial challenges where required.
Cross-Sell, Solutioning & Market Expansion
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through cross-selling of Fund Solutions, Corporate Services, Capital Markets, Governance and Compliance offerings.
- Collaborate with Product, Legal, Compliance and Technology teams to design integrated, client-centric and commercially viable solutions.
- Evaluate emerging client requirements, regulatory developments and market trends to identify new revenue streams, service offerings and jurisdictional expansion opportunities.
Market Intelligence & Industry Leadership
- Maintain deep knowledge of the European Funds markets, including developments across Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Assets, Infrastructure, Venture Capital and Capital Markets.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing dynamics, regulatory developments and emerging market opportunities, providing insights to regional and global leadership teams.
- Develop a strong understanding of technology trends impacting the alternatives industry, including AI-enabled services, digital onboarding, workflow automation, investor reporting and regulatory technology solutions, translating insights into commercial opportunities.
- Represent Vistra at industry conferences, client events and market forums, strengthening brand visibility and market credibility.
Pricing, Commercial Governance & Strategic Planning
- Drive pricing discipline and commercial governance across the region, balancing market competitiveness with revenue growth and margin optimisation.
- Support complex commercial negotiations, contractual discussions and strategic deal structuring activities.
- Ensure opportunities are assessed against profitability, scalability, risk and long-term strategic value considerations.
- Contribute to regional and global business planning, forecasting and growth initiatives, providing commercial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Relevant Experience
- 15+ years of experience within alternative investments, funds services, financial services, or professional services sectors.
- Demonstrable success leading regional commercial organisations and delivering sustained revenue growth.
- Strong network across fund managers, asset managers, institutional investors, family offices and industry intermediaries.
- Significant experience developing and executing commercial, sales and GTM strategies.
- Proven track record of winning and expanding large strategic client relationships.
- Experience leading teams of senior sales, account management, or commercial professionals.
- Strong understanding of European funds markets and associated regulatory environments.
- Experience working within complex, multi-jurisdictional professional services organisations.
- Proven success in driving cross-sell growth and increasing client wallet share.
- Experience influencing senior executive stakeholders and operating within matrix organisational structures.
Education And Professional Qualifications
- A university degree, and a proven track record in the Commercial area.
