Head of Go-to-Market (GTM) at Newsflare

Newsflare is a leading user-generated video marketplace, helping creators monetise their content while supplying video to publishers, broadcasters, brands, and digital platforms worldwide.
As demand for AI training data accelerates, we’re building a new generation of video data products. We are looking for an ambitious commercial leader to drive this opportunity and shape our next phase of growth.
🎯 The Role
As Head of GTM, you will:
- Own Newsflare’s go-to-market strategy for AI training, media publishing, and emerging product opportunities.
- Grow existing revenue categories and establish new ones.
- Report directly to the CEO and collaborate with the Leadership Team.
- Combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to shape how we position, package, and commercialise our products for companies seeking high-quality, rights-cleared videos.
- Ensure Newsflare becomes a trusted supplier of real-world AI datasets.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Commercial Development
- Identify emerging opportunities across AI and other commercial domains.
- Work with the CEO to define and execute Newsflare’s AI licensing commercial strategy and GTM plan.
- Determine priority customer segments, industries, and high-value use cases.
- Develop pricing, packaging, positioning, and commercial models for AI training datasets.
- Implement scalable revenue processes, forecasting frameworks, and growth plans.

🔹 Enterprise Sales & Strategic Partnerships
- Own the full sales cycle (from marketing to contract delivery).
- Build and manage a pipeline of strategic, high-value AI opportunities.
- Lead complex negotiations covering data licensing, usage rights, and long-term partnerships.
🔹 Team Building & Execution
- Lead marketing initiatives to raise awareness of Newsflare in AI and broader markets.
- Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team meeting revenue targets.
- Recruit and develop future marketing, sales, and business development talent.
🎯 What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
Within your first year, you’ll have:
- Defined and launched Newsflare’s AI data licensing GTM strategy.
- Built a strong AI customer pipeline.
- Secured multiple strategic enterprise agreements with leading AI organisations.
- Established repeatable sales and forecasting processes for AI.
- Positioned Newsflare as a credible and trusted provider of AI training datasets.
🏆 What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience
- Significant experience in enterprise sales, commercial leadership, or business development in start-up or scale-up environments.
- Proven track record selling complex B2B solutions to enterprise customers.
- Experience building new markets, revenue streams, or scaling early-stage commercial initiatives.
- Strong ability to define and execute go-to-market strategies, including marketing campaigns.
- Consistently exceeds ambitious revenue targets.
- Experience managing complex commercial negotiations and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Deep understanding of enterprise procurement, contracting, and long-term partnerships.

Highly Desirable
- Experience selling data, datasets, AI solutions, SaaS, cloud platforms, or tech services.
- Hands-on experience with AI, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, or data licensing markets.
- Experience selling to major tech companies, AI labs, or research-driven organisations.
