About Grosvenor Hart Homes
Grosvenor Hart Homes is a social enterprise and specialist registered provider of housing on a mission to improve the life chances of children, young people and their families. We are seeking an experienced Head of Governance & Regulatory Compliance to continue the great work of the current postholder as we continue to grow and develop the business.
We launched in 2023 and became a registered provider of social housing in June 2024. We create balanced and supportive communities through the provision of mixed tenure high quality homes including providing tailored support for those who benefit from it.
Role Overview
You will be somebody with the ability to directly provide high quality company secretariat, governance and regulatory compliance services, ensuring Grosvenor Hart Homes’ (GHH) governance is efficient and effective and fully meets its regulated requirements. The role holder will directly support all Board and committee meetings and provide and coordinate all advice on governance, legal and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility for GHH governance and regulatory compliance, with the objective of ensuring that GHH meets the highest standards in governance, probity and ensuring full compliance with all requirements.
- Be the key contact with the Regulator of Social Housing, as well as any other relevant regulatory organisations.
- Oversee all arrangements for Board meetings and Committee meetings including annual governance and regulatory reviews, taking high quality minutes.
- Develop and oversee appropriate controls and procedures in place, to provide relevant levels of assurance to Board.

Essential Skills and Experience
- An established Company Secretary and/or relevant degree level qualification and experience
- Excellent working knowledge of the RSH Regulatory Framework and lead on regulatory returns
- Excellent relationship building and people management skills, including experience and effective working with Boards of Management and Committees

Working Conditions
This role can be based at our Chester or London office, with a requirement for occasional travel between offices. We support a health work-life balance, operating a hybrid work model, combining remote work with in-person collaboration.
Whilst this role is intended to be permanent, we are open to considering fixed-term contract arrangements for suitably qualified candidates.
