Head of Group Finance

Central London | Hybrid | £110,000 to £120,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We're partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed international business looking for a technically strong Head of Group Accounting to lead financial reporting, governance and control across the Group.

This is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the CFO. We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes and leading from the front. Someone who is happy to work with autonomy, get things done and help build a best-in-class finance function.

The Role

You'll lead the Group Accounting function with responsibility for:

  • Group reporting, consolidations and statutory accounts across multiple entities.
  • Month-end and year-end close.
  • Technical accounting, audit and financial governance.
  • Treasury, cashflow forecasting and working capital.
  • Strengthening controls, processes and systems.
  • Leading and developing the Group Accounting team.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple regions and supporting international finance teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
