Head of Group Reporting | £6-month initial contract | £95,000 to £105,000 per annum
Altum Consulting are partnering with a growing international organisation to recruit a Head of Group Reporting.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the Group's consolidation, statutory reporting, technical accounting, and external audit processes. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing finance team and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure the delivery of accurate and insightful financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual Group consolidation and reporting processes
- Overseeing the preparation of the Group's annual report and consolidated financial statements
- Managing complex accounting areas, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, goodwill, and impairment
- Providing technical accounting guidance and ensuring compliance with IFRS or UK GAAP
- Leading the external audit process and managing relationships with auditors and advisers
- Improving Group reporting processes, controls, and systems
- Partnering with regional and business unit finance teams to improve the quality and consistency of reporting
- Preparing reporting and analysis for the Board, Audit Committee, and senior leadership team
- Leading, developing, and mentoring the Group Reporting team

The Successful Candidate Will Be:
- ACA, CA, or equivalent qualified
- An experienced Group Reporting leader within a complex, multi-entity organisation
- Strong technically, with extensive knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP
- Experienced in Group consolidation, statutory reporting, and external audit
- Confident managing senior stakeholders across multiple locations or business units
- A strong people leader with experience developing finance teams
- Comfortable driving process improvement and transformation within a changing environment
