🌱 About Us

Mother Root is the Ginger non-alcoholic aperitif. We harness the power of apple cider vinegar to serve up a dose of good feelings. Our mission is to redefine what it means to drink well and feel good - with drinks that are complex, delicious and rooted in nature.

Fresh from securing three offers on BBC Dragons’ Den, we’re on an exciting growth journey — scaling from a £7m brand today towards £50m+ in the years ahead, with 230% year-on-year growth already underway. With our small but mighty team, we’re building one of the UK’s fastest-growing non-alcoholic brands, both online and in retail.

We’re bold, inclusive and ambitious. We value creativity, curiosity and collaboration — and we believe work should be joyful, purposeful and full of flavour.

🚀 The Role

Build the growth engine that gets thousands more people drinking differently every day.

As we scale from £7m → £50m over the next three years, we’re looking for a Head of Growth to help shape how we get there.

This is a strategic, hands-on and highly collaborative role. You’ll work across the business to turn insight into action — helping ensure all our growth levers work together and scale effectively.

You’ll partner closely with our Paid Social Manager, Retention + CRO Lead, Creative Strategist and the wider team to build a growth engine that’s thoughtful, insight-led and built for long-term growth.

📋 What You’ll Do

Reporting to our CEO, you’ll design and manage Mother Root’s entire growth system.

You won’t be expected to run every channel yourself. Instead, you’ll focus on connecting the dots — bringing clarity to priorities, spotting opportunities, and helping the team move faster and more confidently.

Your role is to help growth feel intentional, not reactive.

  • Growth strategy & prioritisation
    • Own the company-wide growth roadmap — deciding what moves the needle, where we invest, and what can wait. Align Paid, CRO, Retention, Brand and Retail around a shared strategy and a consistent experimentation rhythm (we use Systm).
  • Insight-led growth
    • Turn deep customer and category understanding into action. Translate insight into clear hypotheses, briefs and experiments that directly shape creative, website, CRM and media performance.
  • Cross-channel orchestration
    • Ensure channels work as one system rather than silos. Connect acquisition, conversion, onboarding, retention and retail into a joined-up journey so each lever amplifies the others.
  • Measurement & investment decisions
    • Own how we measure and deploy capital. Build a simple, robust view of incrementality and contribution so we can prioritise confidently and scale what truly drives profitable growth.
  • Scaling the growth engine
    • Codify how Mother Root grows — creating repeatable processes, playbooks and feedback loops that make performance predictable and scalable across the UK and US.
  • Team leadership
    • Shape and lead the growth function, setting direction and standards across a small, high-calibre team. Act as a player–coach, helping smart people focus on the right problems without unnecessary process, running rituals and ensuring the team are motivated and developing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
