Head of Go-to-Market (GTM Deals)

Role Purpose

The Head of GTM (Deals) is accountable for shaping and delivering go-to-market (GTM) direction by translating growth priorities into an insight-led GTM strategy, contracted plan, and measurable outcomes.

  • Business Partnering: Acts as a senior business partner to leadership in the deployed area (including C&M Directorates) and pressures alignment within the Sales & Marketing community.
  • Demand-led Approach: Operates in a demand > supply environment, balancing focus, integration, and prioritisation.
  • Advisory Role: Contracts with business leadership on outcomes and measures—not activity lists. Diagnoses where central assets should be deployed and highlights targeted local opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Mobilises Sales, Marketing, and Operations capabilities, ensuring the right skills and timing.
  • Advocacy: Champions buyer-centric, solution-oriented approaches, ensuring strategy is commercially effective and differentiated.
  • Alignment: Collaborates with peer Head of GTM roles for consistency, shared planning, and market synergies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
