Robert Walters is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a market leading Professional Services business to recruit a driven Head of Human Resources.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a business experiencing significant growth, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the people agenda. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll help drive organisational performance, support transformation, and build people strategies that enable the business to scale successfully.
This role is suited to an ambitious HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys rolling up their sleeves and is motivated by the opportunity to make a tangible commercial impact. Whether you're already operating as a Head of HR or you're an exceptional Senior HR Business Partner ready to take your first step into a Head of HR position, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver a commercially focused people strategy aligned to ambitious business growth.
- Support the organisation through periods of growth, transformation, and organisational change.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing pragmatic, commercially balanced HR guidance.
- Drive organisational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies to support continued expansion.
- Build and embed scalable HR processes, policies and frameworks that support a growing business.
- Lead complex employee relations matters with confidence and commercial judgement.
- Champion a high-performance culture, driving engagement, accountability, and leadership capability.
- Support the attraction, development, and retention of high-performing talent.
- Use people data and insights to influence decision-making and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop the HR team while remaining hands-on in the day-to-day delivery of the people agenda.
- Ensure HR practices remain compliant, commercially effective and fit for a rapidly evolving business.

About You
We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded HR leader with the pace, resilience, and adaptability to succeed within a high-growth environment.

You'll bring:
- Significant experience operating in a senior HR leadership role, such as Head of HR, Senior HR Business Partner or equivalent.
- A proven track record of supporting organisations through growth, transformation, and organisational change.
- Experience working within entrepreneurial, high-growth or fast-paced businesses where priorities shift quickly.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and balance people decisions with business objectives.
- A proactive, hands-on approach, you'll be comfortable switching between strategic thinking and operational delivery.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and make decisions in a fast-moving environment.
- High levels of energy, resilience, and drive, with a track record of delivering results through change.
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
