Head of HR Operations

We’re partnering with a highly regarded luxury lifestyle business operating in real estate and hospitality services. Renowned for delivering exceptional client experiences and operating at the highest standards, the business continues to grow through ambitious diversification and expansion.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior HR Operations professional—a hands-on, leadership role reporting directly into the HR Director. You’ll drive operational excellence across the full employee lifecycle, working closely with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-performance culture.


The Role

As Head of HR Operations, you will:

  • Lead day-to-day HR operations to deliver operational excellence across the entire employee lifecycle—from recruitment to departure.
  • Advise managers and senior leaders on employee relations, performance management, and organisation-wide initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee HR policies, processes, payroll, and benefits to guarantee efficiency, compliance, and a high-quality employee experience.
  • Drive organisational planning, support HR development initiatives, and lead HR change projects to adapt and grow the business.
  • Act as senior HR leadership, mentoring the HR team while fostering a culture of collaboration and employee engagement with senior stakeholders.

This is a hands-on, generalist role requiring strong HR expertise, commercial judgement, and the ability to thrive in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.


Experience & Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR Operations or generalist role within a fast-paced, commercial business.
  • Domain-specific experience in luxury real estate or hospitality (or a similar fast-moving sector) is a strong bonus.
  • A solid HR generalist background, including:
    • Employee relations and performance management.
    • Payroll administration and benefits.
    • Organisational change and development.
  • Excellent employment law knowledge with the ability to apply pragmatic, commercially focused judgement.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with experience managing HR data and producing reports.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (preferred), combined with experience either managing or mentoring junior HR team members.
