Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a collaborative, dynamic, and innovative environment for a world-class reputable brand within the IT, Tech & Digital industry?
At Sharp Electronics Europe (SEE), we’re looking for a Head of HR Operations & Transformation to join our European HR leadership team on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) with strong potential for longer-term opportunities. This is a senior, high-impact role combining European HR transformation with hands-on HR operational leadership, offering the opportunity to shape and deliver Sharp’s people agenda across multiple European regions.
The Role
Reporting to the European HR Director, you will act as a trusted deputy and senior operational leader, driving consistent HR delivery across Europe while leading the HR function for Sharp’s European HQ. The role is intentionally split 50/50 between European transformation initiatives and HQ HR leadership, requiring strong stakeholder influence, analytical rigor, and delivery discipline within a complex, international matrix environment. You will play a pivotal role in embedding Sharp’s new European People Plan, supporting major transformation programmes, and ensuring HR operations are robust, future-ready, and aligned across countries.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
