Role Description
The Head Of HR Services, HR Systems and Workforce Information is a full time, hybrid role based in Milton Keynes, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. This role leads the HR services function, ensuring high-quality, responsive, and compliant HR support across the Trust, including transactional HR, employee lifecycle processes, and HR advisory services. The postholder oversees HR systems and workforce information, managing the design, implementation, optimisation, and governance of HR technologies, and ensuring accurate, timely workforce data and reporting for operational and strategic decision-making.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Managing HR service teams, payroll, monitoring service performance and customer experience
- Driving process improvement and digitalisation
- Ensuring adherence to NHS policies, employment legislation, and data protection standards
You will need:
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience directing multi-disciplinary HR service teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Expertise in HR operations and employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contractual changes and payroll.
- Proficiency in HR systems and workforce information management, including HRIS administration, data quality assurance, reporting, analytics, and the use of workforce data to inform planning and performance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and projects, including process redesign, digital transformation initiatives, and implementation of new HR technologies or service models.
- Thorough understanding of employment law, NHS terms and conditions, HR best practice, ESR and data protection and information governance requirements.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels and present complex information clearly.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the capacity to prioritise, manage competing demands, and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £57,528 - £64,750 Per annum
Base location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week
