Robert Half is working exclusively with a high-growth, premium multi-site business to appoint a Head of HR.

About the Role
This is a critical leadership position for an organisation with ambitious expansion plans. The Head of HR will play a pivotal role in shaping the people agenda across a rapidly growing operational workforce, ensuring the company has the right structure, capabilities, and talent to drive its continued business growth.
The ideal candidate is a commercially minded HR leader who recognises that HR is far more than a support function—it is a key driver of business performance, directly impacting workforce productivity, retention, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the senior HR leader and trusted advisor to the executive team
- Support business growth through strategic workforce planning and organisational design
- Lead employee relations, employment law compliance, and people risk management
- Build management capability through coaching and leadership development
- Drive recruitment, retention, succession planning, and talent strategy
- Develop scalable HR processes, policies, and organisational frameworks
- Utilise workforce data and people analytics to inform commercial decision-making
- Ensure the organisation maintains an efficient, engaged, and productive workforce while balancing service excellence and commercial outcomes

Ideal Profile
- Senior-level HR leadership experience in a multi-site operational environment
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to align people strategy with business performance
- Deep expertise in UK employment law and employee relations
- Experience supporting organisational growth, transformation, or site expansion
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels
- Exceptional stakeholder management and coaching skills
- Pragmatic, hands-on approach with the ability to influence leaders independently while upholding high standards
