Head of Infrastructure Delivery

£85,000 - £100,000 + Bonus

Hybrid - Manchester x2 days a week

We're partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Head of Infrastructure Delivery to lead the successful delivery of a complex TechOps portfolio, covering infrastructure, platforms, networks, operational technology and business-critical technology services.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a technically credible delivery professional who can drive accountability across TechOps, challenge senior stakeholders and ensure the successful delivery of high-profile infrastructure and technology programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of the organisation's TechOps portfolio, including infrastructure, platform and operational technology initiatives.
  • Own programme planning, prioritisation, governance and dependency management across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Partner with senior leaders across Infrastructure, Networks, Platform Operations, DBA, Service Management and SRE teams.
  • Drive change control, risk management and delivery reporting across the technology function.
  • Ensure resilience, availability and operational readiness are embedded throughout programme delivery.

About You

  • Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure or TechOps delivery programmes.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, networks, platforms, databases and operational technology environments.
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing complex programme roadmaps, dependencies and resource planning.
  • Previous experience within a 24/7 operational, regulated or enterprise-scale environment would be highly beneficial.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience leading large-scale Infrastructure, Technology Operations (TechOps) or Technical Delivery programmes.
  • Strong background across Infrastructure, Networks, Platforms, Databases, Service Management and SRE environments.
  • Experience managing complex portfolios, programme roadmaps, dependencies and resource planning.
  • Demonstrable success delivering business-critical infrastructure and transformation projects within enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and influence senior technical leaders.
  • Experience implementing governance, change control, risk management and delivery reporting frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, planning and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience within a 24/7, highly regulated or mission-critical environment is advantageous.
