Head of Institutional Sales

Range is seeking a self-motivated leader to join as Head of Institutional Sales. In this high-impact role, you will:

About the Role

  • Build and manage relationships with leading institutions across crypto, payments, and fintech
  • Support GTM (Go-to-Market) strategies and the institutional sales discipline
  • Represent Range to sophisticated counterparties, including:
    • Fintech firms
    • Asset managers
    • Banks

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage high-value institutional relationships, pursuing strategic opportunities for Range’s intelligence and compliance suite
  • Own the full sales cycle, including:
    • Discovery
    • Qualifying
    • Negotiation
    • Closing
  • Represent Range at major global and local industry conferences
  • Create tailored solutions and sales materials for key prospects
  • Stay deeply attuned to regulatory developments, such as:
    • MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets)
    • Stablecoin frameworks
    • AML (Anti-Money Laundering) shifts
  • Identify new vertical opportunities in compliance, risk, and blockchain analytics
  • Provide structured insights to leadership on:
    • Buyer trends
    • Common objections
  • Cross-collaborate with internal teams and relay market feedback to influence:
    • Roadmap priorities
    • Product strategy

Requirements

Experience & Expertise

  • 5+ years of institutional sales experience in fintech, with 2+ years in digital assets
  • Proven ability to sell into:
    • Asset managers
    • Banks
    • Fintech firms
    • Crypto infrastructure providers
  • Knowledge of:
    • Stablecoins
    • Crypto-native financial infrastructure
  • Achieved 5–6-figure enterprise deal closures
  • Self-motivated startup environment adaptability
  • Exceptional communicator and negotiator
  • Bonus: Background in compliance, stablecoins, or RWA (Real-World Asset) infrastructure

  • Strong professional network across:
    • Crypto institutions (banks, asset managers, brokers, exchanges, custody providers, infrastructure)
  • Strong preference for:
    • Based in NYC or London
    • Open to other US East Coast locations for the right candidate
