About The Role

We're seeking a strategic and inspirational leader to join our IS Leadership Team as Head of Intelligence. This is a high-impact role that will critically shape the future direction of the organisation, by driving transformation, smarter decision-making, and ensuring informed strategic growth across the business.

This position is at the heart of organisational change, leadership and innovation, and will oversee the adoption of AI largely informally. While collaboration with our Intelligence, Analytics, and AI function is important, this role prioritises leadership and vision-setting over deep technical expertise.

As the leader, you’ll partner with senior executives to shape strategy, lead through cultural and technological transformation, and align technology, insights, and innovation with business objectives. A key focus will be AI adoption, identifying opportunities to create value, enhance services, and improve operational efficiency, consistent with ethical standards and core organisational values.

Leading a team of talented specialists, you’ll:

  • Champion innovation
  • Foster collaboration across functions
  • Navigate technological evolution with a forward-thinking mindset

This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on both the business and its future AI ambitions.

About You

We’re searching for a senior leader with credibility and influence, who thrives in complex environments to drive change through teams. While your prior experience may stem from technology, digital, engineering, architecture, intelligence, operations, systems or another technical discipline, deep expertise in data, analytics, or AI isn’t essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
