Head of Intermediary Partnerships

Raymond James – Director of National Intermediary Partnerships

Profile

You’ll lead our national Intermediary Partnerships function, driving growth through high-impact relationships with top IFA firms, Nationals, Networks, and Service Providers. This is a senior, strategic position at the heart of Raymond James Wealth Management’s commercial agenda, perfect for someone who thrives on influence, collaboration, and building partnerships that genuinely move the needle.

The Opportunity

You’ll take ownership of our UK partnership strategy, expanding and deepening a panel of strategic intermediaries while ensuring every relationship aligns with our broader commercial priorities. You’ll lead a high-performing team of Partnership Directors and Executives, oversee our Investment Sales Desk, and act as senior relationship owner for key national partners.

This role is ideal for someone who combines commercial acumen with exceptional relationship skills and who wants to shape a national strategy, not just manage a portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead national partnership strategy and deliver growth through high-quality intermediary relationships.
  • Develop and implement the UK Intermediary Partnerships Strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Identify and secure new strategic partnerships across key IFA firms, Nationals, and Networks.
  • Act as senior relationship owner for priority partners, strengthening long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Build strong connections between Raymond James senior leadership and senior stakeholders across target firms.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performance intermediary team.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to align campaigns, events, and initiatives with partnership objectives.
  • Represent Raymond James at partner events, industry forums, and joint initiatives.
  • Oversee planning and delivery of national roadshows, seminars, and events.
  • Collaborate with Investment Strategy, Marketing, Operations, and other teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of our product proposition and investment philosophy.
  • Provide market insight, competitor intelligence, and intermediary trend analysis to inform strategy.
  • Ensure robust MI, performance tracking, and reporting frameworks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
