About the Role
A global technology enabled financial services organisation with a strong international footprint is continuing to strengthen its procurement capability. The business is recognised for its collaborative culture, long term strategic mindset and commitment to developing its people. With operations across Europe and Asia Pacific, it is an environment that values commercial discipline, risk awareness and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a regulated and fast moving sector.
They are seeking a Head of International Procurement to lead the function across multiple regions and accelerate the evolution of procurement into a strategic, insight driven and commercially focused partner to the business. This is a high visibility leadership role working closely with senior executives, shaping procurement strategy, driving consistency and supporting major commercial and regulatory decisions.

What you will be doing...
- Leading the international procurement function and embedding consistent processes, governance and tools across regions
- Acting as a strategic partner to senior leaders across functions including HR, Legal, Technology, Operations and Marketing
- Guiding the development of category strategies across local, regional and global spend areas
- Overseeing complex commercial negotiations and supporting the review, optimisation and compliance of vendor contracts
- Managing and mentoring a small team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and commercial accountability
What we are looking for...
- Strong leadership experience within procurement, sourcing or commercial operations in a global financial services or highly regulated environment
- Proven background in complex contract negotiation, particularly within technology and large scale transformation programmes
- Experience operating across multiple regions including Europe, India and Asia Pacific
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate commercial, operational and risk insights into clear recommendations
- Strong analytical, financial and relationship building skills with a track record of improving processes and delivering measurable value
