- Develop and execute the group’s international tax strategy.
- Design and maintain an efficient and compliant legal entity structure for the group.
- Working with group treasury on financing arrangements, dividend planning, and repatriation strategies.
- Provide tax advice to other group functions and regional finance teams on commercially led projects to manage tax risk.
- Manage relationships with external global tax advisors supporting on International tax projects and provide input where required to local teams on tax compliance for complex matters.
- Manage / support execution of complex tax structuring projects.
- Lead tax due diligence on potential acquisitions or divestments and provide expert technical input.
- Design and implement tax-efficient acquisition and divestment holding structures. Ensuring an appropriate capital structure for future interest deductibility, withholding tax optimisation and dividend repatriation.
- Oversee the tax integration of newly acquired entities, including legal entity rationalisation and alignment with the group’s global operating model.
- Provide support on the International tax aspects of the impact of transactions on the reporting cycle and local tax returns.
