Head of IT
The Head of IT will lead the technology department in shaping and delivering the IT strategy to support business objectives within the manufacturing industry. Description
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the business objectives.
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the technology department.
- Ensure the security, availability, and efficiency of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technological requirements.
- Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to support business growth in the manufacturing sector.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Profile
A successful Head of IT should have:
- A strong background in IT management
- Strong background with ERP systems ideally (INFOR ERP system)
- Maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud systems, backups, and security tools.
- Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and backed up appropriately.
- Monitor cybersecurity risks and help maintain strong controls around passwords, access, email security, data protection, and user permissions.
- Manage Microsoft 365, email accounts, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other business systems.
- Proven experience in leading technology teams and managing IT projects.
- Expertise in IT infrastructure, systems, and security management.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align IT goals with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
