Profile
A successful Head of IT should have:
- Proven leadership experience in IT management within professional services.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity practices.
- Experience in developing and implementing IT strategies.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in the industry.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Define and deliver the organisation's IT and digital strategy.
- Lead, mentor and develop the IT team and external technology partners.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.
- Own the IT roadmap, budget, governance and prioritisation of key initiatives.

Cloud Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Own and optimise the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, Microsoft 365 and Business Central.
- Lead the development of a cloud infrastructure strategy for the business.
- Manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for device compliance and security.
- Oversee Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management.
- Ensure a resilient, scalable and high performing cloud environment.
- Define backup, disaster recovery and business continuity standards for critical systems.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000 per annum.
- Permanent role based in Manchester.
- Hybrid working.
