About DIGI2AL

DIGI2AL is an employee-owned defense-focused digital services consultancy. A vendor-agnostic UK Crown Commercial Services accredited supplier, we have delivered over 120 cloud-hosted digital services across the public sector, working in partnership with clients to research and develop outcomes and services spanning artificial intelligence, data science, low code and complex code software engineering, cyber security, cloud engineering, and user-centred design. At DIGI2AL, our technology values drive everything we do. We are committed to open, contemporary and secure solutions that put users first. We embrace cutting-edge technologies while ensuring interoperability, resilience and ethical innovation. By prioritising transparency, adaptability and security, we enable organisations to build future-proof digital services that deliver real impact.

Role purpose

To lead DIGI2AL’s internal technology function, ensuring the organisation’s systems, tooling and technology services support secure growth, operational efficiency and an exceptional employee experience. The Head of IT is responsible for shaping and delivering the company’s technology roadmap, maintaining a secure and resilient technology environment, and enabling the effective adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-powered tools and automation, to improve collaboration, productivity and business performance.

What you’ll be doing

Whilst this role carries ownership of the company’s IT function, it remains a hands-on position. The successful candidate will be expected to both set direction and roll their sleeves up to deliver. There are no planned direct reports in the short term, so success in this role will require equal comfort operating at both strategic and operational levels.

Technology Strategy & Governance

  • Define and maintain DIGI2AL’s internal technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Ensure technology investments support the company’s growth, productivity and operational objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation, AI and modern workplace technologies.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate technology governance, standards and policies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
