Head of Legal (Global)
London | Hybrid | International Travel | £125,000 + Benefits
This is the number one role in Legal for the group! Great people, lots of fun and high levels of autonomy!
We're working with a fantastic group of people in an international, PE-backed engineering and project services business that's growing rapidly across Europe and beyond.
This is a broad, hands-on Head of Legal role with genuine autonomy. You'll work closely with the Board and Group CFO, helping shape the business as it continues to grow through investment, international expansion and M&A.

The Role
Reporting to the Group CFO, you'll lead a team of five legal professionals across Europe, partnering with senior leaders across the business. You'll balance strategic advice with hands-on legal support, ensuring the business can move quickly while operating within a strong governance framework.

You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing the Group legal function across Europe.
- Advising the Board and Executive Team on commercial, strategic and legal matters.
- Negotiating commercial contracts, framework agreements, MSAs and strategic partnerships.
- Supporting acquisitions, legal due diligence and wider corporate projects.
- Leading governance, compliance, legal risk, company secretarial and regulatory matters.
- Advising on employment law, disputes and external legal relationships.
- Driving AI, automation and technology to improve the efficiency of the legal function.

About You
You'll be a qualified solicitor currently operating as a Head of Legal, General Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel with a commercial, pragmatic and hands-on approach.
You'll ideally have experience within engineering, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, utilities, energy or another project-led environment. Experience working in a global, PE-backed or fast-paced business would be highly desirable.
