About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Legal Operations to lead Legal Operations for Sitecore’s global Legal team.
This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys building and improving how legal teams work. You will help shape the systems, processes, tools, and reporting that enable Legal to scale effectively with the business. Working closely with Legal leadership and cross-functional partners, you will drive operational excellence across legal service delivery, legal technology, outside counsel management, knowledge infrastructure, and continuous improvement.

This role is based in London and is ideal for someone who combines strong operational execution with good judgment, a practical mindset, and enthusiasm for building a modern, tech-enabled legal function.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Legal Operations for a global Legal team and help set priorities, drive execution, and improve how Legal supports the business.
- Design and improve scalable legal processes, workflows, and intake models to drive efficiency, consistency, and visibility.
- Own and evolve Legal’s technology landscape, including implementation, optimization, adoption, and day-to-day management of legal tools and AI-enabled solutions.
- Help simplify and scale legal support through better templates, playbooks, guidance, self-service resources, and operational processes.
- Partner with Legal leadership on metrics, dashboards, and reporting across workload, cycle times, spend, and team performance.
- Support Legal budget management and outside counsel operations, including spend tracking, vendor management, and value optimization.
- Oversee Legal’s knowledge infrastructure, including internal resources, repositories, and practical guidance materials.
- Partner cross-functionally with teams such as IT, Finance, HR, Security, Privacy, Product, and Go-to-Market to improve how workflows into and across Legal.
- Lead change management and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen Legal’s effectiveness, scalability, and business impact.
- Support adoption of automation and AI across Legal in a practical and responsible way.
What You Need to Succeed
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in legal operations, legal project management, legal technology, or a similar role within an in-house legal team, law firm, or fast-paced technology business.
- Strong experience selecting, implementing, and improving legal processes and legal technology platforms, including contract lifecycle management and workflow tools.
- Experience using data and reporting to improve performance, inform decisions, and manage resources effectively.
- Strong understanding of how in-house legal teams support commercial, product, and corporate priorities in a global business.
- Experience in leading change, driving adoption, and bringing structure to ambiguous or fast-moving environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the presence and judgment to work effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- High degree of ownership, sound judgment, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute with pace.
- Collaborative, practical, and service-oriented approach, with strong credibility and trust-building skills.
- Interest in AI, legal innovation, and modern ways of working, including responsible governance of new tools.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Based in London, with the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart
- Experience supporting or leading legal operations in a SaaS or broader technology company.
- Experience with legal knowledge management, contract standards, self-service models, or outside counsel management.
- Law degree or prior legal training.
- Additional language skills.
