๐ About Vanguard Tech
Vanguard Tech is a technology-driven maritime security and intelligence company helping organisations make informed decisions in an increasingly complex global environment. By combining maritime expertise, intelligence, and innovative technology, we deliver actionable insights that support safer and smarter operations across the maritime sector.
As we continue to grow, we're establishing a dedicated Maritime Intelligence Division and are looking for an experienced leader to build and shape this capability from the ground up.
๐ The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to lead something from its very beginning.
As a Head of Maritime Intelligence, you'll be responsible for creating and leading a global intelligence function that delivers high-quality maritime intelligence to clients operating around the world.
Working closely with the CEO, Owner, and senior leadership team, you'll define the strategy, recruit and develop the team, establish intelligence methodologies, and oversee the production of intelligence covering maritime security, geopolitical developments, sanctions, operational risk, vessel activity, ports, and emerging threats.
If you enjoy building high-performing teams, developing innovative intelligence products, and turning complex information into practical insights, we'd like to hear from you.

Iโm in my final year doing Economics and I donโt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer โ it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโt need a masters. Letโs look at the ones youโd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
