Head of Marketing

Senior Marketing Manager

BlueOptima | Business Intelligence for Engineering Leadership

Company Description

BlueOptima is an engineering intelligence platform trusted by some of the world’s largest banks, insurers, and enterprises. We empower CTOs, CIOs, and engineering leaders with objective data to measure software engineering productivity, prove AI ROI, and reduce delivery risk.

The AI coding tool adoption conversation is critical for enterprise tech—but few organisations can demonstrate its real-world impact. We provide the data-driven answers and the commercial approach to communicate them to decision-makers.

About the Role

This is a senior, hands-on marketing role reporting directly to the CRO, with full ownership of the marketing function, budget, and execution. Your primary accountability is the marketing-sourced pipeline—not vanity metrics like impressions or MQL volumes, but qualified discovery meetings that convert into revenue.

Key tenure benefits:

  • Direct access to the CRO for fast decision-making, zero bureaucratic approvals
  • Full control of the marketing budget (£10K annual bonus tied to KPIs)
  • Ownership of a content manager and strategic partnerships with sales development, account executives, and RevOps
  • Balanced hybrid lifestyle: London HQ (3 days in-office), 2 remote, plus 4 weeks annual flexible WFH + 12 weeks+ parental leave

In this role, you won’t brief agencies or review decks—you’ll shape and execute strategy, ensuring consistent brand position while driving pipeline.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
