Exciting opportunity to build a modern marketing function and help drive the next chapter of growth for an ambitious technology business.

About The Company

Our client is an established international technology business with more than 30 years of experience developing specialist solutions for enterprise environments. As the business enters its next phase of growth, it is looking to appoint a Head of Marketing to build and lead the marketing function, helping evolve the organisation from a product-led manufacturer to a solutions-focused technology partner. This is a perm role with hybrid working out of their London or Devon based offices.

About The Role

As Head of Marketing you'll take ownership of the entire marketing function. You'll define the strategy, build the plan and deliver it, taking marketing from an agency-led model to an effective in-house capability that supports sales growth, channel partners and long-term commercial success.

Responsibilities

Initially, this is a standalone role, making it ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You'll have significant visibility across the business, working closely with leadership, product management, engineering and sales teams. Key Responsibilities:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
