Head of Marketing (Brand Marketing)
Role Overview Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term (until 26/11/2027) Location: Brighton, East Sussex (or remote) Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
As the Head of Marketing within Brand Marketing, you will lead the coordination of portfolio-wide positioning activities across the UK, Ireland, and APAC, supporting destination markets, partnerships, and programs.
You will:
- Develop and execute marketing plans for new and existing partnerships/products.
- Ensure brand consistency and positioning across the hierarchy.
- Foster strong relationships with university and international delivery partners.
- Drive student recruitment, brand reach, and partner satisfaction through initiatives, campaigns, and sales enablement.
Key Responsibilities
Launch & Market Positioning
- Define differentiated propositions for new partners/products.
- Clarify segmented positioning and messaging (e.g. study destinations, delivery-level propositions).
- Align propositions with customer insights for optimal marketing impact.
Marketing Collaboration & Awareness
- Work with Customer Marketing to increase brand awareness in key markets.
- Ensure consistent messaging for stakeholders (university partners, agents, students).

Product & GTM Strategy
- Develop attribute.statements and marketing collateral tailored to market needs.
- Support with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Partner Recruitment) to refine Go-to-Market strategies.
- Contribute to marketing campaigns, toolkits, and sales assets for campaign success.
Proactive Project Support
- Assist in marketing projects, planning, and stakeholder management.
- Consideration for line management responsibilities (TBD).
About You
Essential Requirements
- Educational background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Industry knowledge: Strong understanding of the higher education market.
- International marketing experience: Preference for APAC/Middle East exposure.
- Senior expertise: Demonstrated experience in international campaigns, full marketing mix.
- Stakeholder management: Ability to liaise with external partners and peers.
- Leadership/mentoring: Proven ability to develop team members (direct or matrix leadership).
- Communication skills: Fluent English (written & verbal), eye for detail, storytelling passion.
