Head of Marketing
Head of Marketing (Job Share)
Location: London Bridge, Hybrid (1 day per week in-person) Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 21 hours per week (3 days) Salary: £39,368 to £43,446 per annum (inclusive of London Supplement)
Pro rata: based on a £65,624–£72,410 annual salary (FTE 35h, including £4,452 London supplement)
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to lead senior marketing strategy with strategic flexibility. As the Head of Marketing on a job share basis (21 hours per week), you’ll be part of our Marketing and Communications leadership team, shaping priorities, aligning marketing efforts with organisational objectives, and ensuring campaigns reflect audience needs and future ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to define marketing strategy and organisation-wide priorities.
- Oversee marketing campaign planning and delivery, ensuring multi-channel integration.
- Lead and develop a talented team, balancing long-term vision with day-to-day execution.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and prioritise competing demands to deliver impactful results.
- Drive innovation, refine processes, and foster a high-performance culture in marketing.
- Ensure all campaigns reflect strategic goals, audience segmentation, and organisational values.

Requirements
Essential
- Proven track record as a senior marketing leader, with expertise in strategy development and campaign execution.
- Experience delivering multi-channel, high-profile marketing with measurable impact.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills at executive level.
- Ability to align marketing efforts with business ambition and align priorities.
- Proficient in team leadership, ensuring accountability and cross-functional collaboration.
Desirable
- Experience in a charity or mission-driven organisation, particularly within defence/british armed forces sectors.
- Knowledge of data-driven marketing to refine audience segmentation and ROI tracking.
- Familiarity with phosphContent Management Systems (CMS) and digital campaign tools.
